RocketSearch Terms of Service

Article 1 (Purpose)

The purpose of these Terms of Service (hereinafter referred to as the "Terms") is to define the rights, obligations, responsibilities, and matters regarding the use of the RocketSearch service (hereinafter referred to as the "Service") operated by RocketSearch Inc. (hereinafter referred to as the "Company").

Article 2 (Definitions)

The terms used in this document are defined as follows:

  1. "Service" refers to all e-commerce product data analysis services provided by the Company through the RocketSearch platform. This includes product information inquiries, market data analysis (sales volume, revenue, conversion rates, etc.), competitive product analysis, AI-based product insights, and related product recommendation services.
  2. "User" refers to members and non-members who use the services provided by the Company in accordance with these Terms.
  3. "Member" refers to a person who has registered as a member with the Company, completed email verification, and uses the Service.
  4. "Ticket" refers to a virtual pass for using the paid services provided by the Company, and is used to unlock Premium Data (sales volume, revenue, conversion rates, etc.).
  5. "Premium Data" refers to detailed analysis data such as product sales volume, revenue, conversion rates, and daily average sales that can be unlocked using Tickets.
  6. "Free Inquiry" refers to basic product data (e.g., views) that members can check within the daily limit without using a Ticket.
  7. "Content" refers to all data, analysis results, text, images, AI-generated insights, etc., provided through the Service.

Article 3 (Effect and Amendment of Terms)

  1. These Terms shall take effect by posting them on the Service screen or otherwise notifying Users. If the Company provides separate guidance and notices regarding these Terms, such content shall also have the same effect as part of the Terms.
  2. The Company may amend these Terms to the extent that it does not violate relevant laws and regulations.
  3. In the event of an amendment to the Terms, the Company will announce the amendment, specifying the revised content and the effective date, through notices within the Service or via email from 7 days prior to the effective date. However, in the case of an amendment unfavorable to the User, it will be announced 30 days prior to the effective date.
  4. If a User continues to use the Service after the effective date of the amended Terms, it is deemed that they have agreed to the amended Terms. Users who do not agree to the amended Terms may stop using the Service and withdraw their membership.

Article 4 (Content of Service)

The contents of the services provided by the Company are as follows:

  1. Product Information Analysis: Basic information inquiry of e-commerce platform products such as price, reviews, ratings, category, seller information, and delivery type
  2. Premium Data Analysis: In-depth market data analysis such as views, sales volume, revenue, and conversion rates (Requires Ticket)
  3. Competitive Product Analysis: Provision of comparison information on related and competitive products
  4. Dashboard: Management of member's analysis history
  5. Free Inquiry: Free viewing of basic product data within the daily limit
  6. Events: Promotions operated frequently by the Company, such as granting bonus Tickets

The Service may be provided in Korean, English, and Chinese, and supported languages may be subject to change.
The Company may change the contents, operation method, and technical matters of the Service, and will notify them in advance upon changes. However, in cases of urgent technical needs, it may be notified after the fact.

Article 5 (Membership Registration and Management)

  1. Application for Registration: Users apply for membership by entering information such as name, email address, password, and company name (optional) according to the form set by the Company.
  2. Email Verification: After applying for membership, users must complete email verification by clicking the link in the verification email sent by the Company to use the Service normally.
  3. Approval of Registration: The Company may refuse registration or subsequently terminate the use contract in the following cases:
    • When registering by stealing another person's information
    • When there is a history of restricted use due to a previous violation of these Terms
    • When other violations of the Company's policy or illegal acts are confirmed
  4. Account Management: Members are responsible for safely managing their account information (email, password, etc.), and they cannot transfer or share this with others. The Company is not responsible for damages caused by unauthorized use of the account.
  5. Password Change: Members can change their password through "My Page" within the Service, and periodic changes are recommended for account security.

Article 6 (Membership Withdrawal and Loss of Qualification)

  1. Membership Withdrawal: Members can request membership withdrawal at any time from "My Page" within the Service.
  2. Data Destruction and Retention: Upon withdrawal, the member's account information and analysis history are permanently destroyed without delay in principle. However, if it is necessary to preserve information such as payment details under relevant laws (e.g., E-commerce Act) and minimum identification information (such as email hash values) necessary to prevent re-registration/abusing by malicious users, it will be retained for the period specified in the Company's 'Privacy Policy' and then destroyed. Data destroyed after the retention period cannot be recovered.
  3. Remaining Tickets: If there are unused Tickets remaining at the time of withdrawal, the refund procedure under Article 8 must be carried out before withdrawal. Refunds for remaining Tickets are not possible after withdrawal.
  4. Restriction of Use: The Company may restrict the use of the Service or cause the loss of membership qualification without prior notice if a member falls under any of the following cases:
    • When committing prohibited acts specified in these Terms
    • When intentionally disrupting the operation of the Service
    • When committing an act contrary to laws or public order and good morals

Article 7 (Ticket System and Paid Services)

  1. Nature of Ticket: A Ticket is a virtual pass used to unlock Premium Data and is not a security or electronic money with property value.
  2. Ticket Plans: The Company provides various Ticket packages (hereinafter "Ticket Plans"), and the quantity and price of Tickets for each plan are displayed within the Service.
  3. Ticket Usage:
    • Using 1 Ticket can unlock Premium Data (sales volume, revenue, conversion rates, etc.) of a specific product.
    • The unlocked data is the data as of the time of unlocking, and subsequent data fluctuations may not be reflected.
  4. Free Inquiry: Members are provided with a certain number of free basic data inquiries per day. The number and scope of free inquiries may change according to the Company's policy.
  5. Bonus and Event Tickets: The Company may issue bonus Tickets through membership rewards, promotions, events, etc., and the issuance conditions and quantity of bonus Tickets may change according to the Company's policy.
  6. Weekly Issuance Limit: The Company may set a limit on the total volume of weekly Ticket issuance to maintain service stability and quality.
  7. Non-transferability of Tickets: Tickets can only be used by the Member themselves, and cannot be transferred, sold, or rented to others.

Article 8 (Payment and Refund)

  1. Payment Method: Payment for Ticket purchases is made by credit/debit card payment through the Eximbay payment service.
  2. Payment Currency: The prices of Ticket Plans are displayed in US Dollars (USD), and upon actual payment, the exchange rate at that time may apply according to the user's payment method and credit card company's policy. The Company is not responsible for the difference caused by exchange rate fluctuations.
  3. Refund Policy:
    • Refund Possible: If not a single Ticket from the purchased Ticket package has been used, a full refund is possible.
    • Refund Impossible: If even 1 Ticket from the purchased Ticket package has been used, refunds for that package are impossible.
    • Bonus/Event Tickets: Bonus Tickets and Event Tickets provided for free are not subject to refund.
  4. Refund Procedure: Members wishing a refund must request it through the customer support channel designated by the Company. Refunds are processed to the original payment method, and it may take up to 7~14 business days until the actual refund depending on the processing period of the payment agency (Eximbay) and credit card company.
  5. Payment Error: If an error occurs during the payment process, please notify the Company immediately. The Company will take appropriate action after confirmation.
  6. Taxes and Fees: Displayed prices may not include value-added tax and other taxes, and related taxes are borne by the User. Addition, credit card company fees associated with overseas payments may be charged separately.

Article 9 (User's Obligations and Prohibited Acts)

Users must use the Service in compliance with these Terms and relevant laws. Users shall not engage in any of the following acts:

  1. Data Resale: Acts of selling, reselling, licensing, or commercially distributing data, analysis results, and contents obtained through the Service to third parties
  2. Unauthorized Reproduction: Acts of reproducing, storing, transmitting, or distributing all or part of the data, analysis results, and contents provided by the Service without authorization
  3. Reverse Engineering: Acts attempting to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the source code, algorithms, or data collection methods of the Service
  4. Competitive Service: Acts of developing, improving, or operating similar or competitive services using the Service
  5. Automated Access: Acts of accessing the Service or collecting data using automated means such as bots, crawlers, scrapers without the prior written consent of the Company
  6. System Disruption: Acts of interfering with the normal operation of the Service or causing excessive load on the server (including DoS/DDoS attacks)
  7. Account Sharing: Acts of taking unfair advantage by sharing one's account information with others or creating multiple accounts
  8. False Information: Acts of providing false information upon membership registration or Service use
  9. Malicious Acts: Acts of distributing malicious programs such as viruses, malware, spyware, or attempting to infiltrate the Service
  10. Intellectual Property Infringement: Acts of infringing the intellectual property rights of the Company or a third party
  11. Violation of Laws: Acts violating other laws of the Republic of Korea or international laws

If a User commits any of the prohibited acts above, the Company may immediately stop the Service use or delete the account without prior notice, and may claim compensation for damages caused to the User.

Article 10 (Intellectual Property Rights)

  1. Company's Rights: The design, source code, logo, trademark, data analysis algorithm of the Service, and all intellectual property rights accompanying the Service belong to the Company.
  2. Scope of Data Use: Users can use the data and analysis results provided through the Service only for their own internal business purposes, and cannot reproduce, distribute, resell, or provide them to a third party without authorization.
  3. Third Party's Rights: Product images, product names, seller information, etc., provided in the Service may be the intellectual property of the relevant e-commerce platform and seller, and the rights belong to each right holder.

Article 11 (Data Accuracy and Disclaimer)

  1. Nature of Data: All data provided through the Service (sales volume, revenue, conversion rates, views, etc.) are estimated data for reference based on publicly available information and estimation algorithms, and are not official data of the relevant e-commerce platform.
  2. No Guarantee of Accuracy: The Company makes no explicit or implicit warranties regarding the accuracy, completeness, reliability, timeliness, or fitness for a particular purpose of the data provided through the Service.
  3. Limits of Estimates: Differences from actual figures may occur due to changes in external sources, structural changes of e-commerce platforms, technical constraints, etc. Users must fully recognize these limitations and use the Service.
  4. Assumption of Decision-Making Risk: Users bear all risks for business decisions, investments, sourcing, pricing, etc., made based on data obtained through the Service.
  5. AI Analysis Disclaimer: AI-based insights are automatically generated outcomes by artificial intelligence models and do not replace professional legal, financial, or management advice. The responsibility for utilizing AI analysis outcomes lies with the User.
  6. "As-Is" Provision: The Service is provided "As-Is," and the Company does not warrant uninterrupted, error-free operation, security, or the absence of viruses of the Service.

Article 12 (Suspension and Change of Service)

  1. The Company may suspend all or part of the Service in the following cases:
    • For maintenance, inspection, or replacement of Service facilities
    • When forceful events such as natural disasters, epidemics, war, cyber attacks happen
    • When the key telecommunications business operator under the Telecommunications Business Act suspends telecommunication services
    • When Service provision is impossible due to changes or blocking of external APIs or data sources
    • When other operational and technical Service suspension is necessary
  2. The Company shall announce in advance if a suspension of Service is expected. However, in case of suspension due to reasons beyond the Company's control, it may be announced afterward.
  3. The Company shall not bear responsibility for damages occurring to Users due to the suspension of Service, except in cases of the Company's intent or gross negligence.

Article 13 (Third Party Services)

  1. This Service operates utilizing third-party services such as payment processing (Eximbay), authentication management, and cloud infrastructure.
  2. Failures, errors, or changes of third-party services may affect this Service, and the Company will take action within a reasonable scope for this.
  3. The terms of use and privacy policy of that third party may apply to the use of a third-party service.

Article 14 (Limitation of Liability for Damages)

  1. The Company shall under no circumstances be liable to the User for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, loss of business profit, or data loss arising in connection with these Terms or the Service. Provided, however, cases of damages caused by the Company's intent or gross negligence shall be exceptions.
  2. The total liability for damages of the Company pursuant to these Terms shall not exceed the amount actually paid by the User to the Company during the 1 month preceding the date of the occurrence of the damage.
  3. If the User's act of utilizing the Service infringes a third party's right or violates a law, resulting in a third party's claim against the Company, the User shall indemnify the Company at their own cost and responsibility.

Article 15 (Dispute Resolution)

  1. The laws of the Republic of Korea shall be the governing law for the interpretation of these Terms and disputes relating to the use of the Service.
  2. For disputes relating to the use of the Service, if there is a mandatory provision in the relevant laws, it shall be followed; otherwise, the court having jurisdiction over the location of the Company's head office shall be the exclusive competent court.

Article 16 (Protection of Personal Information)

The Company complies with relevant laws to protect the User's personal information, and detailed matters regarding the collection, use, keeping, and destruction of personal information shall follow the Company's 'Privacy Policy.'

Article 17 (Miscellaneous)

  1. Matters not prescribed in these Terms shall follow relevant laws and commercial practices.
  2. Even if certain provisions of these Terms are judged to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to be effective.
  3. The Company's failure to immediately exercise its rights under these Terms shall not be deemed a waiver of that right.
  4. The Company may notify the User through notices within the Service, email, or other electronic means as needed for operational purposes, and the User agrees to receive them.

Supplementary Provisions

Effective Date: These Terms shall be effective from February 23, 2026.
